We recommend matting your prints with conservation-quality front and back mats, as well as using conservation plexiglas. We love the look of a white mat with a black core to give definition to the borders of the print.

If desired, Ravenlight Studio will provide the finishing touch of matting and framing using the finest St. Louis area framing and matting companies.

Mounted Prints

Archival Canvas and Flush Mounts

Canvas gallery-wrapped prints are stretched on 3/4" thick wooden frames, with the image borders actually wrapped around the stretcher frame.

Prints may be also be flush-mounted on 1/2" thick black Gatorfoam, as shown below. This provides a very clean look on a backing that will not warp over time.

Special "floater" frames are the style recommended if you wish to frame your canvas print. We have a custom-framing company whom we LOVE to recommend, just ask!

All prints are prepared on long-lasting, archival quality paper with archival inks. They will last through your lifetime and into the next generation. I carefully proof each image to ensure archival quality and a perfect final product - your fine art print.

Prints are created in proportions that best display the image, some of these sizes will be close to but not adhere to the traditional sizes of 8x10, 11x16, 16x24, 20x30, and up.
